(no subject)
Sun creeps calmly over the Mojave Horizon
Lizards crawl from beneath their rocks
Daylight casts new and familiar shadows
Across the barren landscape
The wind, it whistles with the sound of a shriek
The hawk soars feverishly, eying its prey
The sand begins to scorch in a brimstone rage
The sun melts away the icy dawn
And new flowers are born again
